Gerente Sênior de Tributos Indiretos

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in various VAT consulting projects, identifying risk areas and sustainable tax planning opportunities.
• Assist audit teams in reviewing calculations and identifying tax exposures.
• Develop and maintain productive, long-term relationships with clients.
• Stay informed on economic and corporate developments and their impact on clients.
• Develop team members by delegating work, providing timely performance reviews, and offering continuous feedback and training.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities by understanding EY service lines and client needs.
• Collaborate effectively with other internal work teams to monitor and manage project progress.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Law, Administration, or Economics.
• Advanced or fluent English proficiency.
• Deep knowledge of indirect taxes, specifically ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS, and ISS.
• Strong project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in tax compliance, planning, and analysis of fiscal procedures.
• Expertise in tax credit recovery, report preparation, and operational restructuring.
• Experience supporting audit, compliance, and tax planning projects.
• Proven ability to develop technical proposals and drive new business development.
• Knowledge of Digital TAX.
