Gerente SCO – CAPEX OEM

Responsibilities

• Map, analyze, and monitor the CAPEX and industrial projects market, including players, costs, timelines, risks, and project pipelines.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with major market players for benchmarking suppliers and trends.
• Manage strategic TIER 1 suppliers, evaluating their financial health, technical specialization, and production capacity.
• Build high-level C-Level relationships with key suppliers to ensure strategic influence.
• Implement commercial and sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and technical-commercial results.
• Perform structured benchmarking of costs, productivity, and technology using internal and external references.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate category risks, including labor availability, technical capacity, and contractual risks.
• Act as a technical reference for the category within ArcelorMittal Brazil and the global context.
• Lead strategic procurement and negotiation processes with relevant suppliers.
• Manage direct teams (buyers), third-party contractors, and BPO models to ensure performance and governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Metallurgical, Chemical, Mechanical, or Materials).
• Advanced English proficiency for frequent corporate use.
• Solid experience in CAPEX project management with a specific focus on OEMs.
• Proven experience in team management and development.
• Strong strategic vision, analytical skills, and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.

• Experience working on large-scale industrial projects.
• Previous experience in global companies or multinational environments.
