Gerente de Propiedad Intelectual

Responsibilities

• Manage the intellectual property area for the entire group across all countries (Mexico, USA, and LATAM)
• Provide legal consultancy and execution for all IP services, including protection strategies for intangible assets
• Coordinate activities with external intellectual property law firms
• Oversee corporate law activities, including corporate and contractual consultancy
• Organize annual shareholder meetings and coordinate statutory reforms and social books for subsidiaries
• Ensure compliance with all stock market obligations, including reporting to CNBV, Indeval, and BMV
• Advise on corporate and contractual matters related to Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law (Licenciatura en derecho)
• Master's degree or Specialization in Intellectual Property
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a law firm
• 3 to 5 years of corporate experience within a company
• Expert knowledge in Intellectual Property litigation
• Proven experience managing M&A and corporate projects in publicly traded companies
• Full professional fluency in both Spanish and English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with regulatory bodies such as CNBV, Indeval, and BMV
• Background in managing legal complexities across multiple international jurisdictions
