Gerente de Normatividad Contable

Responsibilities

• Analyze, interpret, and document accounting regulations to ensure compliance for all Financial Group subsidiaries.
• Prepare technical memorandums defining accounting treatments and registrations for various operational topics.
• Support the definition and documentation of accounting treatments for new or extraordinary operations.
• Review end-to-end operational processes to ensure events are correctly recorded in the accounting system and financial statements.
• Manage and correct accounting procedures related to regulatory non-compliance identified by auditors or regulators.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards from regulators and communicate impacts to the Financial Group.
• Prepare financial reports for internal use and for external stakeholders, including the Audit Committee and Investor Relations.
• Assist in responding to requirements from authorities such as CNBV, SAT, and Banxico.
• Support internal and external auditors regarding accounting regulatory matters.

Requirements

• Degree in Public Accounting (Contador Público Titulado).
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
• Proven experience in accounting for the financial sector and regulated companies.
• Expertise in Financial Auditing and Financial Reporting Standards (NIF).
• Deep knowledge of CNBV and CNSF accounting criteria, as well as IFRS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work with a results-oriented focus and strong analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in English.
• Experience working with SAP.
