Responsibilities

• Lead the operational excellence strategy for the Mercado Envíos team across assigned distribution centers to ensure cohesion and sustained performance.
• Design internal routine management using agile methodologies and follow-up rituals to ensure efficient project implementation.
• Plan and provide comprehensive support for complex, high-impact improvement initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, cost, and quality.
• Control the assigned capital investment budget, ensuring efficient use of financial resources across all operational sites.
• Ensure process standardization and governance of operational metrics in collaboration with technology development and engineering design teams.
• Manage communication and forums with different organizational levels and regional excellence strategic partners to report business progress and results.

Requirements

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Exact Sciences, or related fields.
• 6 years of leadership experience in process management and continuous improvement, preferably in multi-site logistics or manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience managing and prioritizing complex project portfolios and using KPIs for operational monitoring.
• Knowledge of operational excellence methodologies (Lean, Agile); advanced certifications in continuous improvement or rapid optimization events are highly valued.
• Flexibility to travel regularly between distribution centers within the assigned zone.

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or holding a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a related postgraduate degree.
