Gerente de Medicina Ocupacional

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the organizational occupational health model.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) regarding absenteeism, disabilities, work accidents, and occupational diseases.
• Lead health prevention and promotion initiatives across the organization.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards including STPS, NOMs, and IMSS.
• Supervise the management of medical certificates, disability claims, and invalidity procedures with IMSS.
• Coordinate health campaigns such as vaccination and wellness detection programs.
• Identify and evaluate occupational risks, including ergonomic, physical, and psychosocial factors.
• Act as the primary institutional liaison with IMSS and regulatory authorities (STPS).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Medicine (indispensable).
• Valid professional license (Cédula profesional vigente).
• 3–5 years of experience in occupational medicine and health area management.
• Proven experience implementing occupational health programs.
• Deep knowledge of Mexican labor legislation and NOM-STPS standards.
• Expertise in IMSS processes and disability management.
• Knowledge of ergonomics, occupational epidemiology, and health KPI management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialty or additional academic training in Occupational Medicine.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience with medical information systems and data analysis.
