Geotechnical Technical Reviewer and Construction Support

Responsibilities

• Review temporary and permanent geotechnical structures (e.g., sheet piling, piling, soil reinforcement, embankments)
• Provide expert support to construction management during the execution phase
• Follow up on controls and address technical questions arising during construction
• Act as a technical reviewer for geotechnical design reports for the Västlänken project

Requirements

• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Relevant university degree with a geotechnical focus
• Extensive experience in geotechnics (requirements vary by resource level from 7 to 15+ years)
• Experience with FEM calculations for soft clays
• Experience managing geotechnical investigation assignments
• Experience as a responsible geotechnical engineer for deep shafts (min 15m) in soft clays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with underwater excavation (min 5m) in urban infrastructure projects
• Experience as a technical reviewer for complex infrastructure projects (min 5 billion SEK)
