Geotechnical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide project support during the proposal and bid phases by completing engineering analyses for cost-effective design solutions.
• Work on design-build and EPC projects, including developing design recommendations and producing technical deliverables.
• Perform and oversee subsurface investigations, field testing, and construction oversight.
• Produce engineering reports, technical drawings, and detailed calculation packages.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of post-graduate geotechnical engineering experience.
• Passed the FE/EIT examination in the United States.
• Strong academic knowledge of soil mechanics, rock mechanics, groundwater hydrology, and geotechnical design.
• Ability to travel to project sites and the physical ability to access construction sites in various climates and environmental conditions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Geotechnical Engineering or a closely related field.
• GPA above 3.0.
• Experience with deep or shallow foundations, slope stability, seismic engineering, or retaining wall design.
