About the role
Responsibilities
- Evaluate appropriate and cost-effective foundation support systems and bearing capacity for shallow and deep foundations
- Perform geotechnical studies including subsurface investigations and soil/foundation engineering
- Conduct pile analysis and design, retaining wall assessment, and bridge structure evaluation
- Perform settlement analysis, lateral earth pressure calculations, and slope stability studies
- Execute forensic engineering and site investigations
- Write technical reports and provide geotechnical engineering support during construction phases
Requirements
- At least six years of full-time experience in construction management on capital projects
- Minimum eighteen months of experience in a managerial or consultative capacity
- Possession of a valid New York State Motor Vehicle Driver License
- Must meet specific Civil Service criteria for Administrative Construction Project Manager title
- Authorization to work full-time in the United States without sponsorship
