Geotechnical Driller

Responsibilities

• Perform drilling assignments under moderate direction and supervision
• Prepare daily reports and maintain accurate records of drilling activities
• Set up and monitor the safety and efficiency of drilling operations
• Assist with ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements
• Work with drilling staff, senior technicians, engineers, and construction managers

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in geotechnical drilling or construction industry
• High school diploma
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
• Ability to obtain and maintain railroad and safety certifications
• Ability to pass DOT requirements and obtain a CDL
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Experience with continuous flight augers, hollow stem augers, NQ wireline coring, well installation, and ASTM sampling methods
