Geomorphologist

Responsibilities

• Provide geologic and geomorphic expertise to lead multifaceted restoration design projects
• Lead project teams consisting of stream design, hydraulic/hydrologic modeling, and GIS staff
• Manage environmental compliance and design documents within budget and schedule
• Mentor and provide career development guidance to junior staff
• Support business development through proposal writing, technical input, and client engagement

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in geomorphic assessment and restoration design
• Bachelor's degree in geomorphology, river engineering, earth science, or a related field
• Licensed Geologist in Washington and/or Oregon (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
• Proficiency in sediment transport analysis, hydraulic modeling, and advanced GIS
• Experience with Natural Channel Design in riverine, estuary, or coastal settings

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline
