About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise underground support execution ensuring quality and safety standards
- Verify correct installation of support elements such as bolts, mesh, and shotcrete
- Create and maintain geomechanical databases for rock mass and support information
- Perform geomechanical studies including mapping, geotechnical logging, and rock classification
- Provide technical advice to personnel on support installation and application techniques
- Support automation and systematization of geomechanical field information
Requirements
- Technician or Engineer in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related fields
- Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions
- Basic knowledge of geomechanical mapping
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of underground mine design and instrumentation
- Experience with various support elements and underground mining
- Experience with the sub level stoping method
