Geologist/Field Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Planning, organizing, scheduling, and leading field and operations and maintenance (O&M) activities
• Conducting site investigation activities including drilling, monitoring well installations, and sampling according to State and EPA SOPs
• Assisting Project Managers with CERCLA, RCRA, and petroleum projects
• Assisting in the preparation of project proposals, estimates, work plans, and technical reports
• Interacting with clients, regulators, and subcontractors onsite
• Developing technical recommendations for site assessment and remediation activities

Requirements

• BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering, or related science
• Minimum 5 years of environmental experience
• Experience with contractor oversight, sampling, and field project execution
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to travel regionally up to 40%

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional registration or certification (PE, PG, EIT, or GIT)
• GID, geotechnical, or geophysics experience
