Geography Teacher (English) for Secondary I and II

Responsibilities

• Teach Geography in English for Secondary I and II, ensuring content is relevant for the Abitur
• Prepare and supervise student assessments and examination formats for the upper secondary level
• Contribute to the development of the curriculum, teaching materials, and internal school coordination
• Utilize modern teaching methods and digital tools in the classroom
• Actively participate in school life, including projects, excursions, and extracurricular activities

Requirements

• Teaching qualification with the second state exam in Geography (Secondary I and II) or an equivalent recognized qualification
• High proficiency in English (minimum C1 level) for teaching subject-specific content
• Experience in secondary school teaching
• Strong intercultural sensitivity and ability to work in an international environment
• High level of professionalism and responsibility when interacting with students, colleagues, and parents
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team and adopt innovative teaching methods
