Geocycle Site Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee production processes and maintenance at the Sokhna Plant to ensure timely and cost-effective operations.
• Enforce strict health and safety standards, acting as the site focal point for HSE matters.
• Supervise sorting system operations, material handling, and stockpile management.
• Conduct regular machinery inspections and implement preventive/corrective maintenance plans.
• Manage production activities, prepare operational reports, and lead troubleshooting efforts for equipment issues.
• Monitor Alternative Fuel (AF) material quality and oversee industrial waste acceptance/rejection processes.
• Lead, coach, and develop platform technicians to foster a high-performance culture.
• Optimize the utilization and operational readiness of heavy mobile equipment.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Procurement to ensure raw material availability and inventory control.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of operational experience, including a minimum of 2 years in Alternative Fuel (AF) pre-processing.
• Background in cement, waste management, or industrial waste treatment operations.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• Technical knowledge of RDF & Biomass Shredders and Heavy Mobile Equipment.
• Experience in budget management and strategic planning.
• Strong analytical skills and extensive knowledge of health and safety regulations.
