Geocycle Maintenance & Projects Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of waste management facilities and assets.
• Lead, coordinate, and supervise maintenance teams, ensuring timely execution of activities and adherence to operational standards.
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs using advanced diagnostic tools to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring effective cost control, resource allocation, and optimization of expenses.
• Oversee maintenance and operational activities across multiple remote sites and mobile shredding units.
• Manage the inventory module and warehouse operations, ensuring accurate spare parts control and traceability.
• Lead and manage capital investment projects, including facility expansions, technology upgrades, and process improvements.
• Enforce strict health and safety standards, exercising Visible, Felt Leadership (VFL) to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.

Requirements

• Professional engineering qualification, with a preference for Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of industrial experience, specifically within a cement industry background.
• Proven operational and leadership experience, preferably in a waste management facility.
• Strong expertise in workplace safety and contractor safety management.
• Experience managing maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and large-scale capital projects.
