  • Map the regulatory landscape by predicting cell-type-specific molecular phenotypes directly from DNA sequence.
  • Develop novel architectures to decode distal regulation and connect distant regulatory elements to transcriptomic output.
  • Utilize whole-genome sequencing (WGS) data to predict disease risk and susceptibility for conditions such as Autism, Schizophrenia, Alzheimer’s, and ALS.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Genomics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Deep expertise in modern deep learning, foundation models, and large-scale model training.
  • Strong interest in or experience with gene regulation, epigenomics, or the genetic basis of complex disease.
  • Proven track record of leading original research and navigating complex, multi-modal datasets.

Benefits

  • Annual salary of $118,000 (includes $100,000 base pay and a $1,500 monthly taxable postdoctoral housing allowance).
  • Full range of medical and financial benefits.
  • Generous time off.
