Generator Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace parts to maintain buildings, equipment, and furnishings
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on building equipment in accordance with manufacturer manuals
• Determine required materials and supplies for repair orders and projects
• Operate elevated equipment including ladders, scissor lifts, scaffolding, and platforms
• Move and arrange heavy office furniture, equipment, or supplies
• Perform general mechanic related duties as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing generator systems
• Relevant generator system certifications
• Experience performing services within a government facility
• Proficiency with hand tools, small power tools, and man lift equipment
• Ability to pass a government background check
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding)
