Generative AI Researcher Intern

At Meshy, we believe 3D creation should be boundless and accessible. Our mission is to unleash creativity through a full pipeline for 3D content, including text/image to 3D, texturing, and animation. We are a market leader in 3D generative AI, used by enterprises like Meta, Square Enix, and Deepmind.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and finetune 3D generative models covering pre-training, post-training, and emerging paradigms.
• Analyze, discretize, and process meshes and design tokenizers for generative models.
• Accelerate model training by maximizing memory usage and eliminating pipeline bubbles in CPU and GPU.
• Advance the state-of-the-art in Diffusion and Auto-regressive models for high-resolution texture generation.
• Focus on generating full PBR stacks to deliver game-ready assets.

Requirements

• Able to commit to a full-time internship for 12 weeks or longer
• Intention to join Meshy full-time after graduation
• Deep understanding of transformer architecture
• Strong Python and tensor programming skills
• Ability to translate high-level goals into concrete research and implementation steps

Preferred Qualifications

• Undergraduate, master's, or PhD students
• Graduation date ideally between 9/2026 and 9/2027
