Generalist Process Operator I

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery, mechanical equipment, and technological tools including scanners and mobile devices within the production facility.
• Perform various production tasks such as bag unloading, mixing, and monitoring computerized control systems.
• Conduct routine equipment monitoring and perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Record production activities and inventory data accurately into computerized systems.
• Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, or floor sweepers as required.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as bending, climbing stairs, kneeling, crouching, or twisting.
• Ability to lift up to 25kg with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or different shifts with prior notice.
• Ability to work in environments involving noise, dust, or chemicals while using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months of experience working in a production or plant environment.
• Previous experience in inventory management.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel and Word.
