Generalist Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records and financial statements
• Perform monthly closes, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Coordinate with the Finance Manager on budgets and financial forecasts
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Support tax and zakat filings including VAT and withholding tax
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend enhancements

Requirements

• Finance, accounting, or business degree
• Proficiency in Excel and Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Knowledge of Internal Control concepts
• Strong analytical and financial skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and follow up on time-sensitive issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating in a diverse, multi-functional finance group across time zones
