General Warehouse Operative

Responsibilities

• Operating a PPT and a Reach Truck (FLT) to move stock safely and efficiently
• Loading, unloading, and picking of stock and orders within the chilled warehouse
• Loading and unloading different type of trailers using RF Gun to scan pallets
• Assembling customer orders from the order profile
• Ensuring the correct amount of product is picked
• Maintaining high levels of Health & Safety and housekeeping throughout the warehouse
• Working to clear targets and KPIs

Requirements

• Valid PPT truck licence
• Valid D1 or D2 Reach Truck licence with previous operating experience
• Ability to work in a chilled warehouse environment (2 to 5 degrees)
• Confidence working in high-level racking environments (up to 14 metres)
• Strong verbal communication and numerical accuracy
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a 4 on, 4 off pattern including weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced retail warehouse operation
