General Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers, sort, and repack inbound freight
• Pick and pack customer orders, including flat packing goods and garments on hangers
• Move shipping cartons to and from the conveyor system
• Apply price tickets and pack merchandise securely for shipping
• Sort and palletize cartons and load trailers
• Operate pallet jacks and use RF equipment to complete assignments
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse work area
• Follow all safety techniques and Standard Operating Procedures

Requirements

• Six months of previous distribution center, warehouse, or order filling experience
• Ability to stand and/or walk for eight to ten hours a day
• Ability to lift and carry between 0 – 50 lbs
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to read and comprehend department and product documentation
• Strong oral communication skills and a positive, respectful attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Experience using RF equipment
• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment
