General Surgeon

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of emergency and general surgical procedures including abdominal, vascular, orthopedic, urologic, and soft-tissue cases
• Lead surgical care across the perioperative continuum including patient evaluation, operative planning, and postoperative management
• Collaborate with CRNAs, nursing teams, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Support trauma and urgent surgical response efforts
• Maintain accurate documentation, operative reporting, and compliance with clinical protocols
• Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and recovery expectations

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board certification or recent ABS qualification in General Surgery
• Active unrestricted U.S. physician licensure
• Current BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications
• 5+ years of recent surgical experience with active clinical practice within the past year
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with a valid passport
• Ability to obtain and maintain MRPT security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting military, government, or international healthcare environments
• Recent Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) or advanced trauma training
