General Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Ensure constant compliance with health and safety standards on site
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all works to ensure respect for schedules, budgets, and quality standards
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and various trades, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
• Participate in work planning with the project management team and monitor progress until final delivery
• Act as the primary point of contact between the site, subcontractors, and the management team
• Monitor plans, identify coordination issues, and propose solutions to optimize work execution
• Supervise material reception, resource management (labor, equipment, supplies), and daily site organization
• Participate in site meetings, produce progress reports, and manage administrative documentation
• Ensure work compliance with plans, specifications, construction standards, and current codes
• Manage changes, resolve unforeseen issues, and follow up on deficiencies until final project acceptance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient site to foster effective collaboration

Requirements

• 8 to 15 years of significant experience
• Successfully led at least 3 construction projects from start to finish
• Engineering degree
• Proficiency with technology for report writing, email management, and various software
• Organized, autonomous, and solution-oriented mindset
