General Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop Junior Superintendents and direct reports
• Manage contract administration, including subcontractor and field management meetings
• Oversee monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections
• Review, approve, and negotiate change orders
• Develop and implement plans for project completion and turnover
• Maintain daily diaries for accurate record-keeping
• Ensure conformity with drawings, specifications, and workmanship standards
• Maintain positive working relationships with clients, engineers, and suppliers
• Oversee scheduling, work methods, and cost control for heavy civil and transportation projects

Requirements

• 10+ years of construction experience
• 5+ years of experience in a Superintendent or leadership capacity
• Proven experience working on infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, bridges, dams, etc.)
• Strong expertise in leadership, safety, negotiations, and contract administration
• Ability to manage project costs and schedules with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational, administrative, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required to meet deadlines
