About the role
Responsibilities
- Independently perform General ultrasound examinations
- Ensure high standards of clinical practice and patient safety
- Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
- Contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Adhere to departmental protocols and national guidelines
Requirements
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or Society of Radiographers (SoR)
- Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent
- Extensive experience in General sonography
- Experience in Lumps & Bumps is essential
- MSK experience is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
