General Sonographer

Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound scans to assist in patient diagnosis and care
• Explain procedures to patients and address their concerns
• Ensure patient comfort throughout the scanning process
• Adhere to all relevant protocols and safety standards
• Maintain clear and thorough documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during weekend shifts

Requirements

• HCPC or relevant registration as a Sonographer
• Proven experience in general sonography (abdominal, pelvic, and soft tissue)
• Advanced technical proficiency with ultrasound equipment
• Strong understanding of patient care and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
