General Services & Security Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the commercial strategy for property, fleet, and physical security across SP Energy Networks.
• Partner with the CEO and Executive Team to set strategic priorities and shape planning approaches.
• Collate, review, and validate business cases from various directors and teams to ensure efficient investment.
• Provide robust scrutiny of investment proposals and ensure adequate resources from regulatory funding.
• Deliver clear reporting on programme performance, tracking risks, impacts, and dependencies.
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders across SP Energy Networks, Corporate Services, and Iberdrola.
• Prepare high-quality executive briefings, reports, and presentations to drive informed decision-making.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years post-qualified experience in a relevant professional role.
• Proven experience in strategic or programme management.
• Significant experience working in an investment office, assurance, or programme management environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to solve complex business problems.
• Degree in business, finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification in Project Management or a similar relevant field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high-quality presentation capability.
• Ability to engage and provide constructive scrutiny to senior executive stakeholders.
