General Services Employee I - Beautification

Responsibilities

• Perform routine unskilled manual labor and limited semi-skilled tasks
• Execute maintenance, construction, and service activities
• Use standard hand tools and power operated devices
• Operate trucks and other automotive equipment
• Perform tasks including mowing, weed eating, field preparation, and garbage pick-up
• Maintain ball fields, parks, cemeteries, and other outdoor/indoor areas

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral instructions
• Physical strength and agility for heavy manual labor in various weather conditions
• Ability to operate small machinery such as riding lawn mowers and weed eaters
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds
