General Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Change oil and oil filters in cars and light trucks
• Provide automobile tire care including installation, repair, and rotation
• Inspect and top off engine fluids and lubricate frontend parts
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections on belts, hoses, brakes, and other components
• Move customer vehicles into and out of service bays
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area and keep tools functional
• Build positive relationships with customers and team members

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Mechanically inclined with a customer-focused attitude
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screen
• Willingness to work weekends (Saturdays and/or Sundays)
• Ability to meet physical demands, including standing for long periods and lifting 50-100 lbs occasionally

Preferred Qualifications

• One year or more of experience in basic car care
