General Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a highly capable sales team to ensure operational objectives and distribution targets are met.
• Manage operating processes and expenses to deliver targeted profitability and manage P&L.
• Develop and evaluate branch distribution plans, routes, new item distribution, and sales forecasts.
• Evaluate market conditions, competitive threats, and local dynamics to impact volume and profit.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to develop KPI priorities and strategies.
• Collaborate with RBCA Sales and Distribution teams to execute programs and share best practices.
• Ensure the branch team adheres to company standards and operating procedures.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Direct Store Delivery (DSD) management.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives and building successful sales teams.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring, training, or providing corrective feedback.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.
• Previous P&L experience and understanding of computer ordering/IT systems.
• College Diploma plus 2 years of related experience, or a University Degree.
• Ability to travel 30-40%.
