General Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the BevCarb sales team nationwide with full P&L accountability to meet or exceed budgeted sales, margin, and operating goals.
• Manage the national account portfolio for the beverage carbonation sector, ensuring high-quality service and relationship management.
• Coach and motivate Territory Managers to achieve their goals and support professional development.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop growth strategies and leverage Linde’s solutions for profitable sales expansion.
• Participate in key customer contract negotiations and conduct joint calls with major customers.
• Work closely with distribution, operations, and back-office teams to maintain operational discipline and flawless customer service.
• Conduct market research to stay informed on competitive, economic, and emerging market trends.

Requirements

• Proven sales success and experience managing large teams to achieve growth in competitive environments.
• Strong knowledge of the beverage and packaged gases industry.
• Extensive experience in P&L management and strategic financial decision-making.
• Experience in value-added and solutions selling, ideally within distributor, branch, or retail networks.
• A degree in Business or Engineering.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 30%.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
