General Rehabilitation Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering rehabilitation programs for patients as directed by supervising physiotherapists or occupational therapists
• Support patients in daily activities to help regain independence and improve quality of life
• Perform manual handling and mobility assistance to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns to the clinical team promptly
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and progress in accordance with organizational policies
• Work effectively and independently in the community across Tower Hamlets

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a rehabilitation support worker
• Ability to work independently (lone working) in the community
• Ability to travel around Tower Hamlets
• Physically capable of providing manual handling support in patient homes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
