General Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiographic procedures and ensure high-quality imaging results
• Assist in the preparation and positioning of patients for diagnostic examinations
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data confidentiality
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide comprehensive patient care
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure operational effectiveness
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and protocols at all times
• Provide guidance and support to junior radiography staff and students

Requirements

• Certification in Diagnostic Radiography
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Proven experience as a Radiographer, preferably at a Band 6 level
• Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Commitment to patient care and confidentiality
