General Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of general radiographic procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment
• Operate advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality images
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and the wider healthcare team
• Follow established protocols and safety standards
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to the efficient operation of the radiology department

Requirements

• Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification
• Current registration with the HCPC
• Proven experience as a General Radiographer, preferably at Band 6 level
• Proficiency in operating modern radiographic equipment
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and protection protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to providing high standards of patient care
