General Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with clinical protocols and safety guidelines
• Operate imaging equipment and maintain accurate patient records
• Ensure radiation protection compliance
• Work closely with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Provide support and reassurance to patients throughout procedures

Requirements

• HCPC registration
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Radiography
• Minimum 1-2 years post-registration experience in general radiography
• Experience working in a busy imaging department
• Knowledge of radiation protection and safety regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
