General Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of diagnostic radiographic procedures, including X-rays and general imaging
• Work closely with radiologists, consultants, and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality images
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and quality assurance standards
• Assist in maintaining imaging equipment and ensuring compliance with clinical governance

Requirements

• BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
• HCPC registration
• Previous NHS or private sector experience as a General Radiographer
• Proficiency in general X-ray and trauma imaging
• Strong understanding of radiation protection guidelines
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
