General Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of general radiographic procedures to support diagnosis and treatment
• Operate advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality images
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Adhere to established safety protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient service delivery
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of radiology services

Requirements

• Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification
• Current registration with the HCPC
• Previous experience as a General Radiographer, preferably at Band 6 level
• Proficiency in operating advanced radiographic equipment
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload
