General Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of general radiographic procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment
• Operate advanced radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort while adhering to established protocols
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient department operation
• Support junior staff members and contribute to service improvement

Requirements

• Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification
• Current registration with the HCPC
• Relevant experience as a General Radiographer, preferably at Band 6 level
• Proficiency in using modern radiographic equipment and techniques
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
