General Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of general radiographic procedures to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment
• Operate imaging equipment efficiently and safely while ensuring radiation protection compliance
• Provide compassionate care to patients, addressing needs and concerns during procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage equipment
• Adhere to departmental protocols and best practices

Requirements

• Registration with the HCPC as a Diagnostic Radiographer
• Demonstrable experience in general radiography
• Knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance procedures
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Availability for a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week
