General Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of radiographic examinations
• Operate imaging equipment and position patients
• Produce diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Adhere to radiation protection guidelines
• Participate in quality assurance activities
• Provide support and guidance to junior staff and students

Requirements

• Registered Radiographer with the HCPC
• Experience in general radiography within a clinical setting
• Proficiency in radiographic equipment and imaging techniques
• Strong understanding of radiation protection principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
