General Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic imaging across various modalities including CT, MRI, and plain film
• Adhere to departmental protocols and maintain professional standards
• Support the Radiology team by assisting in training junior staff and students
• Ensure patient safety and comfort
• Participate in out-of-hours and emergency cover
• Engage in quality assurance and maintain an up-to-date CPD portfolio
• Comply with health and safety regulations

Requirements

• HCPC registration
• Approved Degree or Master's in Diagnostic Radiography
• At least 24 months of post-qualification experience as a Band 5 Radiographer
• Experience in CT, MRI, and plain film imaging modalities
• Experience with quality assurance processes and CPD maintenance
