General Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and other general radiography exams
• Ensure accurate positioning of patients and operate imaging equipment efficiently
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while adhering to imaging protocols
• Collaborate with the radiology team to deliver excellent patient care

Requirements

• Degree in Radiography or equivalent qualification
• Current registration with the HCPC
• Experience in general radiography, preferably at Band 6/7 level
• Proficiency in operating a range of radiographic equipment
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and imaging protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
