General Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy scans
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes and obtaining informed consent
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment safely
• Assist in initial image interpretation and report significant findings to clinicians
• Adhere to quality assurance protocols and health and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Provide guidance and support to junior radiographers and students

Requirements

• Degree in Radiography or a related field
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• 1-2 years of post-qualification clinical experience
• Experience in fluoroscopy within the UK (NHS or private)
• Proficiency in using imaging equipment and radiographic techniques
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
