General Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of radiographic examinations to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Interact with patients to provide clear explanations of procedures and ensure comfort and safety
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to analyze results and contribute to patient care
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment while adhering to safety protocols
• Engage in continuous professional development

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Radiographer
• Relevant degree or equivalent in Radiography
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably at Band 5 level
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and imaging techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection and safety regulations
• Proficiency in using radiographic imaging equipment and software
