General Practitioner/Hospitalist

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day medical care for admitted patients in surgical and medical wards
• Support surgical teams in pre-operative and post-operative patient management
• Conduct regular ward rounds, assess patient progress, and adjust treatment plans
• Respond to inpatient consultations and manage acute clinical conditions
• Ensure timely documentation of patient care, discharge summaries, and clinical notes
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, nurses, and ICU staff
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide coverage as required
• Adhere to DOH regulations, hospital policies, and patient safety standards

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
• Valid DOH license or eligibility as a General Practitioner
• Minimum of 3+ years of clinical experience
• Proven experience in managing inpatients, particularly in hospitalist or surgical ward settings
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills
