fab2 was founded by Sam Zeloof and Jim Keller. The team designs all the hardware and software needed to make chips, building the fabs, tools, and components themselves. We are an early-stage hardware startup with solid funding and world-class advisors.

Responsibilities

As a general opportunity, roles vary across several engineering disciplines including:

• Mechanical systems: high precision mechanical design, control systems, fluids, temperature & vibration control, and optics
• Electrical systems: RF, high voltage, and FPGAs
• Software: firmware, low-latency controls, data analysis, robotics, and automation
• Nanofabrication: process engineering, chemistry, device physics, and transistor modeling

Requirements

• Exceptional, hands-on engineering skills
• Ability to iterate to the limits of what is possible
• Capacity to serve in compliance with U.S. export controls
