General Operative/Labourer

Responsibilities

• Assist with various tasks on construction sites, including digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials
• Provide support to skilled tradespeople by fetching tools and materials
• Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment
• Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely under supervision
• Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and report hazards promptly
• Assist with general site maintenance and upkeep

Requirements

• Valid CSCS card
• Physical fitness for manual labour in various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and proactive approach
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
• Health and safety awareness
• Good communication and time management skills
