General Operative

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including PPE and traffic management
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate work
• Assist drivers with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
• Help with the safe operation of excavators and heavy equipment
• Record and report site incidents or accidents
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment and vehicles
• Assist with the set-up and breakdown of work sites

Requirements

• Full driving licence
• Current CSCS card
• Experience operating heavy machinery
• Experience in construction or labouring roles
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime
